Hot Summer 2016 Sandals

Best looks that slide right into fall

Summer’s winding down, yet you’re probably still not ready to ditch the sandals. No wonder, there are so many super stylish sandals this season that summer must never end. Lucky for you, many of the season’s best sandals can be worn straight into fall. Here are our favorite season-bending styles:
The Block Heel
Block heel sandals are the little black dress of footwear. They’re perfect for any occasion, day or night, and give a modern kick to any outfit. Choose low-block heels such as these Sandro Avril Sandals for maximum comfort, or elevate to a funkier level with these patent leather Steve Madden Kierra sandals. When the weather gets chillier, don’t pack away your block heels, instead, add a pair of black tights to your outfit.
Strappy & Nude
Nude (for many skin types), strappy sandals are wardrobe basics that defy seasons. Celebrities love them because they’re photo-friendly and because they blend into the foot, magically elongating any look. Strappy sandals also go with any outfit, especially those hard-to-match ones. These sandals are the perfect choice for a flaming hot red dress or a super busy print. If you want to turn it up even more with a stiletto heel, try the Rachel Zoe T-Strap Sandal. But even down-to-earth versions such as the Klub Nico Antonia are super sexy! And the laser cut straps add a little something something.
The Gladiator
The appropriately named Gladiator is the shoe trend that refuses to die. This season the hottest gladiators are decorated to the hilt. Embrace the fun and whimsy of these Chinese Laundry Posh Embellished Lace Up sandals and show the world you’re a lot of fun.
The Decorated Wedge
The wedge is the petite woman’s best friend because it offers just as much height as a stiletto, but it doesn’t scream “My heels look like weapons!”  It’s boho, chic and modern, and you can walk around the block (or at least to your car) with nary a wobble. Look for the latest decorated styles – much more fun than a solid!-- in floral, dots or denim. We like the Newbark Maggie Wedge in a black Chinese floral print.
