Fall 2017 Hair Trends

Inspiration for new your new fall look

Fall is the perfect time to ditch your old hair style and go for something fresh and exciting! Even if you’re not heading back to school anymore, you can still get a back-to-school hair reboot. Check out the cut, color and style inspiration below to keep your locks on trend for next season.

Cuts
A blunt bob with bangs promises to be THE cut of 2017.  It’s so popular on Pinterest and Instagram right now that even the most adventurous among us might consider a reinterpretation of this classic. Leave it a little shaggy for a tousled look. A mid-length waves with warm brown highlights are another fall staple coming back into the fold and curly girls everywhere are embracing their natural textures with fun cuts and braids.

Colors
When it comes to color, there is a soft subtle shade of pink springing up on a lot of celebrity heads right now. There is also a slew of more sophisticated and sultry color combos for fall, like sherbet shades of peach, grombre (grey ombre) and rose-gold blonde. Oh, and the good news for those us who can’t get to the colorist very often is that roots are still having a moment. Think like 3 to 5 inches of natural color.

Styles
This fall’s hairstyle trends offer a few throwbacks from the past, including long, straight, center-parted Cher hair and romantic braids. Braids in general are everywhere right now,  from intricate micro braids to tossing a few random plaits in with beachy waves. A pretty little detail from the Fashion Week runways are black ribbons, big and small, tied onto the tops of ponytails, chignons and braids. Double or juxtaposed texture looks are also having a moment, referring to a chic slicked back look on top and textured or teased look at the bottom.
