Spring Mark Makers

The hottest makeup trends for spring

Fashion trends for spring showed us a variety of fashion options; from bright, bold, statement making prints and colors, to anything but-boring beige, khaki and nude hues. Makeup trends are following suit with similar trends. Here are some of the hottest makeup looks to try this season.

Vivid Cheeks
This season blush wasn’t used just to create a healthy glow on the runway, it was meant to be noticed. Bright pink and rose blush tones were swept from the apples of the cheeks to the upper cheek bones, reminiscent of an 80s high school style.

Loud Lips
Similar to bright cheeks, lips will be lively and bright this season. Models wore creamy, matte lipsticks in saturated hues like fuchsia, orange, purple, red and even  used contrasting shades to color-block the top and bottom lip. This season you can give your nude gloss a break and enjoy the colors.

Glossy Glow
Another hot trend was glowing skin thanks to pearlized highlighters, shimmer and moisture balms. Highlighter was added to the upper cheekbones, forehead, temples and inner corners of the eyes for an added shine.

Eye Catchers
Eye makeup this spring is all about adding a pop of color; meaning electric blue, green, yellow, pink or even orange. Models were seen with bright hues swept across the entire lid and just below the eyebrows. You can make this look yours by adding a thin swipe of color to your upper or lower lash line.
